One time the Quincy Punx were staying at my house in San Pedro whilst they were in the middle of a tour. After the gig we all came back to 4th Street (my street!) and kept drinking and talking and listening to music, as young punks do. I believe the bass player at the time was playing a bunch of Sam and Dave CD’s he had brought with him. Anywho, I started talking with the singer of the Q.P, a nice latin fella, Dave, I believe, and I asked, “Why don’t you have the mohawk anymore, dude?” and, with a straight face, he said, “Well it would look pretty stupid with this bald spot on my head.”-Hal Ba Dal
