about

Lotsa people asked me , in recent years, if this song was about Joe. It wasn't (he played on this album, before his death) but there's something erie about it in that way. He always loved this song too. I always think of him when we play it. -Todd C.
ps. Sorry to bum you out, Here's Hal:

F.Y.P was my college and I believe I graduated at the top of my class. Too many stories. I hope one day some bright eyed punker will want to interview me about the whole “F.Y.P thing” ...but then I will learn that he just wanted to smoke weed with F.Y.P and I’m still not famous. That kinda happened on tour one time… Some kid asked to do an interview and we were all in the van waiting for him to start but then he said, “I’m sorry guys, I just think you are so cool, do you want to smoke this joint with me?” None of us (at the time) smoked pot so we turned him down. We were still willing to move forward with his doped-up interview but when someone asked about it he just showed us his notebook… no questions were on the page :( That kid later became the singer of Oasis? “Where were you while we were getting high…”-Hal Ba Dal
